The adjustable casing is designed to eliminate and/or reduce the need for filler inserted between the window frame and the window casing. The construction of the adjustable casing accounts for various aspects of the installation that are out of true. A 1" long adjustment screw adjusts the height of the casing where necessary to eliminate or reduce spaces between the window frame and the existing window casing. Increasing or decreasing the depth of the screw aligns the casing ensuring proper fit with minimal further adjustments required. These adjustments can be set at any length along the adjustable casing. The adjustable casing can be designed to fit any existing window frame dimensions and can be installed either vertically or horizontally along any window opening surface. The adjustable casing can be manufactured in any wood or wood substitute material as specified by the customer.
