Abstract Of The Disclosure A drive apparatus is provided for producing motion of a workpiece in particular for adjusting the rear vision mirror of an automobile. The apparatus comprises two drums arranged with their axes of rotation relatively offset. The two drums are individually rotatable by means of a single control- ler which is attached to each drum such that it is off-centre in only one of the vertical and horizontal directions. Each drum controlls either vertical or horizontal motion of the workpiece.
