A B S T R A C T An adjusting device for franking and value-stamping machines com- prises a lever having special guiding edges matching specific curved paths. The said lever carries two gearwheels, one of which rolls upon stationary gearwheels in the switching drum, thus moving the other gearwheel for the pur- pose of setting the digital rollers which print the values. The one gearwheel also controls the setting of the switching-drum tines.
