Adjusting means for hoisting cranes or the similar, consists of a work spindle, which is given an axial travel within a cylinder by means of a relative movement between a screw and a cooperating groove following driving means. The work spindle has a free end, which is connected to a lifting arm of the hoisting crane through a connector or the like. In order to make it possible to move the work spindle axially without help of the driving means, when emergency, the connector (8) consists of a connection which is stiff in the axial direction of the work spindle, and which consists of two parts (9, 11) which are rotatable in relation to each other against a certain friction resistance around an axis, which is concentric to the work spindle (5).

Ces moyens de réglage de grues de levage ou analogues comportent un arbre moteur se déplaçant axialement à l'intérieur d'un cylindre au moyen d'un déplacement relatif entre une vis et des moyens d'entraînement coopérants suivant une gorge. L'arbre moteur possède une extrémité libre qui est reliée à un bras de levage d'une grue au moyen d'un dispositif de raccordement ou analogue. De manière à rendre possible, en cas d'urgence, le déplacement axial de l'arbre moteur sans l'aide des moyens d'entraînement, le dispositif de raccordement (8) comporte un élément de raccord qui est rigide dans la direction axiale de l'arbre moteur et est composé de deux pièces (9, 11) tournant l'une par rapport à l'autre en opposition à une certaine résistance de friction autour d'un axe concentrique avec celui de l'arbre moteur (5).
