Provided is a method for treating a patient having lung cancer. The method includes administering a lipid composition containing cisplatin to the patient's respiratory tract over the course of at least 2 treatment cycles. At least about 15 mg/m2 of cisplatin is administered in each treatment cycle, and there is no more than 2 weeks between treatment cycles.

L'invention concerne un procédé destiné au traitement d'un patient atteint d'un cancer des poumons. Le procédé consiste à administrer une composition grasse contenant du cisplatine aux voies respiratoire du patient sur au moins deux cycles de traitement. Au moins 15 mg/m2 de cisplatine sont administrés au cours de chaque cycle de traitement, les cycles de traitement étant espacés de deux semaines au maximum.
