[PROBLEMS] To provide an adsorbent realizing excellent adsorption performance, moldability and appearance through common extrusion molding means and further provide a process for producing the same and a production apparatus therefor. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Extrusion exit portion of extruder (2) is fitted with metal mold (3) having a multiplicity of pins (31) with the same sectional configuration as that of each fluid channel (11) of adsorbent (1) planted with thin interstices (32) therebetween erect on base plate (33), the base plate (33) surrounded by circumferential wall (34) and supported via raw material conducting detour (35) by the circumferential wall (34). Fluid mixture (13) obtained by blending and kneading of a powdery carbonaceous material and a powdery inorganic material with a binder and water is continuously extruded into the interstices (32) between the pins (31), thereby obtaining uncured product (14) with circumferential wall (12) wherein the vestiges of the pins (31) remain as fluid channels (11). The uncured product (14) is dried or sintered, thereby obtaining an adsorbent having its circumferential wall (12) constituted of a porous adsorbent material, in which a multiplicity of tubular fluid channels (11) are densely formed into a block.
L'invention porte sur un adsorbant ayant une excellente performance d'adsorption, une excellent aptitude au moulage et une belle esthétique et qui est obtenu par un dispositif de moulage par extrusion ordinaire. L'invention porte également sur un appareil et un procédé de fabrication de cet adsorbant. La sortie de l'extrudeuse (2) est pourvue d'un moule métallique (3) comportant une pluralité de broches (31) dont la configuration en sections est identique à celle de chaque canal de fluide (11) de l'adsorbant (1) pourvu de minces interstices (32). L'adsorbant s'érige sur une plaque de base (33) et est entouré d'une paroi circonférentielle (34) et est supporté via un canal (35) acheminant la matière brute par la paroi circonférentielle (34). Pour obtenir un mélange fluide (13), on mélange et on malaxe une matière carbonée en poudre et une matière inorganique en poudre avec un liant et de l'eau qui sont extrudés en continu dans les interstices (32) entre les broches (31), ce qui permet d'obtenir un produit non durci (14) pourvu d'une paroi circonférentielle (12), le vestiges des broches (31) restant sous forme de canaux fluidiques (11). Le produit non durci (14) est séché ou fritté de façon à obtenir un adsorbant dont la paroi circonférentielle (12) est constituée d'une matière adsorbante poreuse dans laquelle une multitude de canaux fluidiques tubulaires (11) sont transformés de manière dense en un bloc.
