The adsorber contains an adsorption agent chamber (4) with an upper filler stub (5). On the inflow side the chamber has a slatted wall (7) and on the outflow side a separating sieve (8). The slatted wall is taken up to the height of the filler stub while the separating sieve is connected to the filler stub (5) by an oblique, gas-impermeable wall (10). The operative region of the chamber (4) is thus gas-permeable on the inflow side, while the oblique wall (10) induces an obliquely downward gas flow in this region. Optimum flow characteristics are obtained in the operative region without any additional fitments. On the filler stub (5) there is a filling container (15) and the filler stub is automatically closed when the filling container is empty.

L'invention concerne un adsorbeur comprenant une chambre (4) d'agent d'adsorption pourvue d'une tubulure de remplissage supérieure (5). Cette chambre est délimitée du côté admission par une paroi à claire-voie (7) et du côté évacuation par un tamis à fentes (8). La paroi à claire-voie s'étend jusqu'à la hauteur de la tubulure de remplissage, tandis que le tamis à fentes est relié à la tubulure de remplissage (5) par une paroi (10) oblique, imperméable aux gaz. La zone fonctionnelle de la chambre (4) est donc perméable aux gaz du côté admission, tandis que la paroi oblique (10) contraint un flux de gaz oblique dirigé vers le bas à pénétrer dans cette zone. Il est possible d'obtenir des rapports d'écoulement optimaux dans cette zone fonctionnelle sans équipement supplémentaire. Un réservoir de remplissage (15) est placé sur la tubulure de remplissage (5), cette dernière étant automatiquement obturée, lorsque le réservoir de remplissage (15) est vidé.
