An apparatus (300, 400) and method operable to guide responders, via audible prompts and visual cues, through the proper procedures to be applied to a patient during a cardiac arrest. An embodiment of the present invention advantageously makes the ACLS procedures, such as types and dosages of medications to administer, and sequence of performing actions (such as cardiac pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)) on the patient easier to acknowledge and follow. An exemplary embodiment of the present invention (300) can be located on a conventional hospital crash cart which stores the emergency equipment and medications, or can be hardware and application software, the application software being loadable and loaded into computer hardware (200).
La présente invention concerne un appareil (300, 400) et un procédé utilisable pour guider des transpondeurs, par l'intermédiaire de messages sonores et de repères visuels, dans les procédures correctes à appliquer à un patient lors d'un arrêt cardiaque. Un mode de réalisation de la présente invention rend, de manière avantageuse, les procédures de technique spécialisée de médicaments à administrer, notamment les types et la posologie de médicament à administrer et l'ordre de réalisation d'actions (telles que la réanimation cardio-pulmonaire (RCP)) sur le patient plus faciles à connaître et à suivre. Un exemple de mode de réalisation de la présente invention (300) peut être placé sur un chariot d'urgence d'hôpital classique qui stocke l'équipement et les médicaments d'urgence, ou bien peut être un matériel et un logiciel d'application, ledit logiciel pouvant être chargé et étant chargé dans le matériel informatique (200).
