This invention is a system that controls the RPM of the engine allowing the vehicle to use the torque of the engine to maintain a given speed within a pre-set tolerance of the cruising speed. This Advanced (Cruise Control(hereafter referred to as ACC) improves on existing cruise control technology in that it offers intelligent control of cruising speed utilizing control of RPM, torque, speed and transmission function. Additionally the described invention offers improved fuel efficiency, enhanced road safety and smoother operation.
