A system and method are provided for mobile stations for enhancing the ease of use of a mobile station. Through the system and method, a user may more easily view the phone number of a caller identification card. The user may be alerted when the user tries to send messages while out of GPRS coverage, or the mobile station may recognize extension numbers in address book user interface applications to assist with a dialling operation.
L'invention concerne un système et un procédé destinés à simplifier l'utilisation de stations mobiles. Selon l'invention, un utilisateur peut visualiser plus simplement le numéro de téléphone d'une carte d'identification d'appelant. L'utilisateur peut être averti lorsqu'il tente d'envoyer des messages sans couverture GPRS. Par ailleurs, la station mobile peut reconnaître des numéros d'extension dans des applications de carnet d'adresses d'interface utilisateur de manière à simplifier la composition des numéros.
