The invention relates to an advancement guide unit (5) for ensuring the straight-line motion of a ma-nually guided machine tool (1), particularly a portable drill, in the direction of advancement thereof and is substantially composed of a support element (12) for support on a work-piece to be treated and a carriage (30) guided displaceably on the support element (12) relative thereto in the direction of advancement for supporting and guiding the machine tool (1). According to the invention, a damper (33) acting in the direction of advancement is disposed between the support element (12) and the carriage (30), said damper damping the initial stroke of the carriage (30) toward the support element (12) over a predefined initial stroke distan-ce (y). In a refinement, the damper (33) is disposed bet-ween the support element (12) and carriage (30) such that the damping of the initial stroke of the carriage (30) only commences after a primary, undamped initial stroke of the carriage (30).

L'invention concerne un élément guide d'avance (5) pour le guidage rectiligne d'une machine-outil portative (1), en particulier d'une perceuse à main, dans une direction d'avance de celle-ci, comprenant essentiellement un élément d'appui (12) destiné à prendre appui sur une pièce à usiner, et un coulisseau (30) pour l'appui et le guidage de la machine-outil, guidé mobile par rapport audit élément d'appui (12), en direction de l'avance. L'invention est caractérisée en ce qu'il est prévu, entre l'élément d'appui (12) et le coulisseau (30), un amortisseur (33) agissant en direction de l'avance, lequel amortit, sur un parcours de course (y) prédéterminé, la course du coulisseau (30) vers l'élément d'appui (12). Selon une variante d'exécution, l'amortisseur (33) est disposé entre l'élément d'appui (12) et le coulisseau (30), de telle façon que l'amortissement de la course du coulisseau (30) ne commence qu'après une course initiale, non amortie, du coulisseau (30).
