ADVANCING ASSEMBLY FOR A HIGH SPEED PRESS Abstract of the Disclosure A high speed press for coining workpieces includes a head actuable by high pressure fluid. The high speed press also includes an advancing assembly for advancing individual workpieces to a position adjacent the head to be coined. The advancing assembly includes a reciprocating apparatus for advancing the individual workpieces to a posi- tion to be coined by the head. The advancing assembly is in fluid communication with the pressurized fluid employed to operate the head such that the operation of the advancing mechanism is synchronized with the operation of the head.
