An advertisement display system wherein display of an advertisement content can be switched interlocking with the state of a traffic signal device or a railroad crossing warning device, being effective in advertisement and wherein traffic safety is considered sufficiently. The advertisement display system comprises a means for photographing a signal lamp of a signal device (5) such as the traffic signal device or the railroad crossing warning device using a photographing device (1), an analysis means for analyzing a lighting or flickering signal state of the signal lamp from image data obtained by photographing the signal lamp using the photographing device (1) by a computer (2), and a means for displaying on a display device (3) advertisement display information previously stored in the computer (2) or the display device (3), interlocking with the lighting or flickering signal state of the signal lamp analyzed by the analysis means. The advertisement of the content interlocking with the signal state of the signal device (5) is displayed on the display device (3).
