An aerated belt conveyor system for conveying hot expanded minerals including a longitudinal power driven belt conveyor surrounded by an envelope is described herein. An exhauster creates an air flow in the envelope to aerate expanded mineral material conveyed by the power driven belt conveyor and cool the mineral material to an adequate bagging temperature.

Système de convoyeur à courroie pour le transport de minéraux chauds expansés. Il comprend un convoyeur à courroie longitudinal entraîné par un moteur. Le convoyeur est entouré d'une enveloppe. Un ventilateur d'extraction crée un écoulement d'air dans l'enveloppe pour aérer les minéraux expansés transportés par le convoyeur à bande entraîné par un moteur et pour refroidir ces minéraux à une température convenant à l'ensachage.
