ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus is disclosed for aerating domestic and industrial wastewaters by means of an aerator placed on the bottom of an oxidation pond. The aerating apparatus includes a novel stator comprising a stator shell structure, stator ducts directed outwardly with respect to the outer edge of the shell structure, legs attached to the shell and extending to the bottom of the pond, and triangular blade members fastened to the legs.
