An aerial cableway with means of transportation (6) comprises two cable loops (4, 5) to which the means of transportation (6) can be coupled and from which the means of transportation (6) can be decoupled, and comprises a lower station (1), a middle station (2) and an upper station (3). In the section from the lower station (1) to the middle station (2) the lower cable loop (4) is arranged, and from the middle station (2) to the upper station (3) the upper cable loop (5) is arranged. In the middle station (2) the lower cable loop (4) and the upper cable loop (5) are guided around a shared guide device (7) in the form of a double-groove pulley.
