ABSTRACT OF TIE DISCLOSURE An aerial radio-navigational beacon for emitting radio-electric signals whose waveform corresponds to that of the signals emitted by a circular beacon comprising an even number, 2i, of pairs of dipoles on a circle and constituting i pairs of dipoles diametrically opposed, switched successively. The beacon of the invention comprises i independent pairs of dipoles, the said pairs being disposed along straight lines parallel to a given direction and being successively excitable, the distances of the dipoles of the pairs excited in succession varying sinusoidally as a function of time.
