ABSTRACT The invention relates to an aerodyne for the transportation of a plurality of disposable loads adapted to be ejected at a predetermined point along the flight path. The aerodyne has a tubular casing enclosing a disposable- load area and a device for ejecting the loads. The tubular casing consists of various segments connected detachably to each other and forming a cylindrical envelope. The cylindrical configuration is achieved by elastically deforming the segments so that they interengage under preload. Individual segments comprise hooked extensions which engage, after the manner of tongs, around a rod and may thus be braced together. Movement of the rod in relation to the hooked extensions unlocks the segments from the casing, allowing them to spring apart under their preload and to thereby separate from the aerodyne prior to ejection of the disposable load.
