This invention provides a deodorant composition in a dispensing container which is pressurized with an aerosol propellant. The primary ingredients of a typical product are particulate sodium bicarbonate, ethanol, volatile silicone oil and a suspending agent such as hydrophobic hectorite clay. An invention aerosol deodorant product has a stable particulate sodium bicarbonate suspension phase, and exhibits excellent fluid evacuation properties with a relatively high content of ethanol and low content of aerosol propellant.

La présente invention concerne une composition pour déodorant contenue dans un récipient distributeur mis sous pression avec un agent propulseur. Les ingrédients primaires d'un produit typique sont le bicarbonate de sodium particulaire, l'éthanol, l'huile de silicone volatile et un agent de suspension tel que l'argile hectorite hydrophobe. Un nouveau produit déodorant aérosol comporte une phase de suspension stable du bicarbonate de sodium particulaire et présente d'excellentes propriétés d'évacuation fluidique, en plus d'une teneur relativement élevée en éthanol et d'une faible teneur en agent propulseur.
