A liquid aerosol formulation comprising at least one thermally stable active ingredient selected from the group consisting of buspirone, buprenorphine, triazolam, cyclobenzaprine, zolpidem, pharmaceutically acceptable salts and esters thereof and derivatives thereof. The liquid formulation can include an organic solvent such as propylene glycol and one or more optional excipients. The active ingredient can be present in an amount of 0.01 to 5 wt. % and the formulation can be heated to provide a vapor which forms an aerosol having a mass median acrodynamic diameter of less than 3 um.
Cette invention se rapporte à une formulation d'aérosol liquide qui comprend au moins un principe actif thermiquement stable choisi dans le groupe constitué de buspirone, buprénorphine, triazolam, cyclobenzaprine, zolpidem, de sels et esters pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ceux-ci et de dérivés de ceux-ci. Cette formulation liquide peut contenir un solvant organique, tel que du propylène glycol, et un ou plusieurs excipients optionnels. Le principe actif peut être présent en une quantité comprise entre 0.01 et 5 % en poids et cette formulation peut être chauffée pour produire une vapeur formant un aérosol ayant un diamètre aérodynamique médian de masse inférieur à 3 µm.
