Provided is an aerosol method, and accompanying apparatus, for preparing powdered products of a variety of materials involving the use of an ultrasonic aerosol generator (106) including a plurality of ultrasonic transducers (120) underlying and ultrasonically energizing a reservoir of liquid feed (102) which forms droplets of the aerosol. Carrier gas (104) is delivered to different portions of the reservoir by a plurality of gas delivery ports (136) delivering gas from a gas delivery system. The aerosol is pyrolyzed to form particles, which are then cooled and collected. The invention also provides powders made by the method and devices made using the powders.
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'aérosol, et un dispositif connexe, permettant de préparer des produits pulvérulents contenus dans une pluralité de matières. Le procédé consiste en l'utilisation d'un générateur (106) d'aérosol à ultrasons comportant une pluralité de transducteurs (120) à ultrasons, situés sous, et excitant par voie d'ultrasons, un réservoir d'alimentation en liquide (102) dans lequel se forment les gouttelettes de l'aérosol. Un gaz (104) porteur est conduit au niveau de différentes parties du réservoir par une pluralité d'entrées (136) d'alimentation en gaz qui amènent du gaz provenant d'un système de distribution de gaz. L'aérosol est pyrolysé en vue de former des particules qui sont ensuite refroidies et regroupées. L'invention concerne également des poudres produites selon ce procédé et des matériels produits en utilisant ces poudres.
