An aesthetic structure (11) comprising a sheet of material (12) having a surface (13) and a plurality of strips (21) of a non-metallic material. Each strip has a surface (24) and a layer (27) of adhesive material is adhered to the surface of each strip for securing the strip to the surface of the sheet of material. The strips are disposed on the surface of the sheet of material to segment the surface of the sheet of material into discrete portions (41). A method for making an aesthetic structure such as a stained glass window is provided.
L'invention concerne une structure esthétique (11) qui comprend une plaque de matériau (12), présentant une surface (13), et une pluralité de bandelettes (21) constituées d'un matériau non métallique. Chaque bandelette présente une surface (24). Une couche (27) de matériau adhésif est collée à la surface de chaque bandelette, de façon à fixer ladite bandelette à la surface de la plaque. Les bandelettes sont disposées à la surface de la plaque de façon à diviser ladite surface en parties discontinues (41). L'invention concerne également un procédé qui permet de fabriquer une structure esthétique telle qu'un vitrail.
