The present invention relates to a composition comprising Agastache rugosa and tilianin obtained by separation-purification for anti-inflammation and anti- atherosclerosis, and more particularly, to an extract of Agastache rugosa and tilianin obtained therefrom by separation-purification which are effective in preventing and treating not only inflammatory diseases but also atherosclerosis related to inflammatory responses and disease in circulatory system caused by atherosclerosis because they are excellent in inhibiting the activity of complement system as a factor of inflammatory responses, the expression of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) and vascular cell adhesion molecular-1 (VCAM-1), and the production of nitric oxide (NO). They can also significantly reduce the development of atherosclerosis due to the inflammatory response.
La présente invention concerne une composition contenant de l'Agastache rugosa et de la tilianine obtenue par le biais de la séparation et de la purification, ladite composition possédant des effets anti-inflammatoires et anti-athéroscléreux. Cette invention a notamment trait à un extrait d'Agastache rugosa et de tilianine obtenu par séparation et purification, efficace dans la prévention et le traitement non seulement de maladies inflammatoires, mais également de l'athérosclérose afférente aux réponses inflammatoires et aux maladies du système circulatoire. L'Agastache rugosa et la tilianine présentent d'excellentes caractéristiques dans l'inhibition de l'activité du système complémentaire, en tant que facteur des réponses inflammatoires, l'expression de la molécule-1 de l'adhésion intercellulaire (ICAM-1) et la molécule-1 de l'adhésion cellulaire vasculaire (VCAM-1), et la production d'oxyde nitrique (NO). Ces composés peuvent également réduire de manière considérable le développement de l'athérosclérose en raison de la réponse inflammatoire.
