The invention relates to the use of copolymers of the general formula: (X)a- (Y(b)- (Z)c: wherein X represents the anionic monomeric unit, Y represents the nonionic monomeric unit, Z represents the cationic monomeric unit with (a) weight percent relative to the total weight of the monomers is between 95 and 15 (b) weight percent relative to the total weight of the monomers is between 0 and 65 (c) weight percent relative to the total weight of the monomers is between 5 and 60 weight percent, with the objective of obtaining stable detergent or cosmetic compositions.
