- 29 - ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention discloses a method for reducing side effects caused by an immunosuppressing agent comprising administering a pharmaceutical composition containing an effective amount of at least one derivative of aminobenzoic acid represented by the formula (I): Image (I) wherein R represents a saccharide; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, as an active ingredient. The characteristics of the pharmaceutical composition of the present invention are: (1) it reduces side effects induced by an administration of an immunosuppressing agent; (2) it does not injure an activity of immunosuppressing agents to restrain an immunorejection of an organ transplanted in a human body; and (3) it is extremely low toxic by itself. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention can be administered for a long period enough to exhibit its efficacy in its full capacity.
