A human monoclonal antibody against a protein having an amino acid sequence, which is the same or substantially the same as an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or SEQ ID NO:3, a partial peptide thereof or its salt is useful as a preventive/remedy for cancer and the like, an apoptosis promoter of cancer cells, a growth inhibitor of cancer cells, a cytotoxic agent to cancer cells with the use of the biological defense mechanism mediated by the Fc region of the antibody and so on.
