The present invention relates to an orally administered agent, containing material which is insoluble or poorly soluble in water and gastro-intestinal fluids, existing in the shape of a spongy formed body composed of an elastic material, which can be deformed by mastication and deglutition, reduced in form and compressed, so that it can pass through the oesophagus and can be decompressed once it has left the oesophagus in drinking liquids and gastro- intestinal fluids, thereby increasing the volume in the stomach, producing an effect of physiological saturation during its time in the stomach and causing delayed release of integrated active substances and constituents, and which then leaves the body via the intestine after several hours in the stomach in an unabsorbed or poorly absorbable state.
L'invention concerne un agent administré par voie orale, contenant un matériau non soluble ou difficilement soluble dans l'eau et dans des liquides gastro-intestinaux, sous forme de produit spongieux, qui consiste en un matériau élastique déformable par mastication et déglutition, dont la forme peut être réduite et qui est compressible, de manière à pouvoir être adapté au tube digestif. Ce matériau peut être décomprimé de manière à augmenter de volume dans l'estomac, dans les liquides ingérés et les liquides gastro-intestinaux, après avoir quitté le tube digestif; il produit un effet de saturation physiologique pendant le séjour dans l'estomac et libère avec effet retard les principes actifs et les constituants intégrés; il quitte ensuite le corps en passant par l'intestin, de manière non résorbée ou faiblement résorbable, après un séjour de plusieurs heures dans l'estomac.
