The invention relates to the use of a bacterial agent for producing compositions for cosmetic'pharmaceutical or veterinary use, for stabilizing and/or regulating the skin ecosystem of mammals. Said bacterial agent is an extract of a bacteria or a bacteria selected for its adhesion characteristics in relation to the cells of the skin and its anti-adhesive characteristics in relation to the pathogens of the skin system. The invention also relates to compositions containing an agent of this type.
