Agent for the Disinfection of the Skin and Process for its Production ABSTRACT The invention relates to an agent for the disinfection of the skin, particularly the hands, on the basis of an alcohol/water mixture, containing as a residual fat a volatile residual fat of at least one methyl cyclosiloxane of the general formula [(CH3)2SiO]n (I) where n is a number from 3 to 9. The inventive disinfectant preferably takes the form of a disinfectant solution, which displays an unusually good degree of compatibility with tha skin while providing a degree of efficacy as a disinfectant, both for the hygienic and surgical disinfection of the hands, at least equal to that of alcoholic skin and hand disinfectants known to the prior art.
