Remedies and/or preventives for brain ischemic diseases comprising two active ingredients, namely, an astrocytic function-improving agent, preferably a compound represented by the following general formula (I), and a thrombolytic agent, preferably a tissue plasminogen activator: (I) wherein R6 represents hydroxy, etc.; and (1) n is 1, R11 represents hydrogen, and R5 represents (alkyl having a fluorine atom as a substituent of a carbon atom)-CH2-; or (2) n is 0 or 1, R11 represents hydrogen, etc., and R5 represents alkyl, etc. These drugs show synergistic therapeutic effects compared with the case where an astrocytic function improving agent and a thrombolytic agent are separately administered.

Cette invention concerne des médicaments administrés à titre curatif ou préventif dans le cas des maladies ischémiques cérébrales, qui comprennent deux principes actifs, à savoir un agent améliorant la fonction astrocytique, de préférence un composé représenté par la formule générale (I ) suivante, et un agent thrombolitique, de préférence un activateur tissulaire du plasminogène. Dans la formule (1), R?6¿ représente hydroxy, etc. ; et (1) n vaut 1, R?11¿ représente hydrogène et R?5¿ représente (substituant alkyle, comportant un atome de fluor, d'un atome de carbone)-CH¿2?- ; ou (2) n vaut 0 ou 1, R?11¿ représente hydrogène, etc. et R?5¿ représente alkyle, etc. Par rapport é un agent améliorant la fonction astrocytique et un agent thrombolitique administrés séparément, ces médicaments ont des effets thérapeutiques synergiques.
