Agents against protozoa in insects ABSTRACT A method of combating protozoa in insects which comprises applying to such insects or to an insect habitat an amount effective therefor of a triazinetrione of the formula (I) Image in which X is O or S, Y is O or S, R1 and R2 each independently is a radical from the group consisting of halogen, nitro, CN, amino, alkyl, halogenoalkyl, alkoxy, halogenoalkoxy, alkylthio, halogenoalkylthio, alkylsulphonyl, alkylsulphinyl, halogeno- alkylsulphonyl, halogenoalkylsulphinyl, acyl, carboxy, carbonylamino, carbonylalkoxy, carbamoyl and sulphamoyl, n and m each independently is an integer from O to 3, and R3 and R4 each independently is hydrogen or alkyl.
