A process for producing a controlled-release preparation capable of rapidly dissolving out at least 99 % of a difficultly soluble drug having a low dissolution rate above the small intestine, which process comprises supporting a difficultly soluble drug having a low intestinal dissolution rate on an agglomerate of spherical polyvalent-metal alginate particulates wherein the specific surface area of the secondary particle ranges from 1 to 280 m2/g.

L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'une préparation à libération retardée, capable de dissoudre rapidement au moins 99 % d'un médicament qui est difficilement soluble et possède un taux de dissolution faible au-dessus de l'intestin grêle, ce procédé consistant à faire supporter un médicament difficilement soluble et possédant un taux de dissolution intestinal faible, par un agglomérat de particules sphériques d'alginate de métaux polyvalents dans lesquelles la surface utile spécifique des spectres granulométriques secondaires est comprise entre 1 et 280 m?2¿/g.
