ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An improved heat transfer and air circulation system for homes and like constructions is described. A mass of re- latively non-heat conductive aggregate supports the slab or floor of the home. Air is circulated by a blower from the interior of the home into and through the aggregate mass positioned between the slab and the underlying supportive earth, and thence back into the interior of the home. Heat transfer occurs be- tween the supportive earth and the air flowing through the aggregate mass and between the air flowing through the aggregate mass and the slab. Thus, slab itself becomes a heat transfer surface. The aggregate mass is enveloped by a film sheet to prevent water flow into the aggregate mass from the surroundings.
