L'invention concerne un couvercle agitateur pour boîtes de teintes sur les machines d'agitation. Ce couvercle du type comportant à sa base un joint souple périphérique (11), destiné à être appliqué, à la fermeture du couvercle agitateur sur la boîte (5), sur le bord périphérique externe (13, 13') du rebord annulaire (7, 7') délimitant l'ouverture de la boîte (5), est caractérisé en ce que ledit joint (11) comporte une partie de corps antérieure annulaire (17) fixée à ladite base du couvercle et destinée à être appliquée à la fermeture en pression et de façon étanche sur ledit bord périphérique (13, 13') de la boîte, et une lèvre annulaire interne souple (19) solidaire de ladite partie de corps antérieure (17), coaxiale à la partie de corps (17) et destinée à être appliquée à la fermeture sur le bord interne (15, 15') du rebord annulaire (7, 7') d'ouverture de la boîte.
