ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An agricultural dispensing arrangement for dispensing agricultural particulate material is disclosed. The arrangement consists of a dispensing roller and dispensing member mounted in co-operation with the dispensing roller to dispense the particulate material. The dispensing roller is mounted for rotation by a drive and dispenses particulate material through a nip defined between the dispensing roller and the dispensing member. The dispensing roller is of resilient material having formed therein a series of internal recesses which extend lengthwise parallel to the axis of rotation, and each recess is of substantially uniform cross- section and the recesses are distributed at substantially regular intervals around the axis of rotation of the dispensing roller.
