ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to an agricultural implement for aerating soils in fields. The agricultural implement comprises a frame mountable on a prime mover so as to be drawn by the prime mover; a plurality of shafts rotatably mountable at various angles with respect to the direction of travel of the implement on or within the frame so as to cause the shafts to rotate when the implement is moved by the prime mover; and a plurality of ground cutting members arranged on said shafts for substantially edge- wise engagement with the ground, each said member being substant- ially planer and constructed and arranged so that when mounted on one of said shafts and viewed along the axis thereof the outermost part is narrower than the innermost part.
