"AIDS FOR DISABLED PERSONS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An aid device is provided for a disabled person's bed and comprises an elongated member for transverse location beneath the mattress of the bed and a respective elongated grip arm at each end of the elongated member,which extends upwardly adjacent a respective side of the mattress of the bed when the elongated member is located therebeneath. The elongat- ed member is provided a respective end portion extending later- ally of each grip arm and a lever arm portion extending later- ally from each end portion and from a point on the latter re- mote from its grip arm. A connecting portion which inter- connects the lever arm portions is provided at respective lo- cations remote from the end portions.
