This device is a two part gauge designed to monitor the two conditions of wear which are critical to the safe operation of an air brake system. The first part is a three piece gauge designed to accurately indicate the current amount of brake stroke under a full brake application. The second is an S cam camshaft mounted indicator washer which gives a quick and accurate reference of the proximity of the brake shoe rollers to the edge of the S cam, so indicating when it is no longer safe to continue to adjust the brake stroke.
