This "Air Brake Silencer" is made to work on most makes of trucks and trailers with blow off air valves,or air dryers. "Air Brake Silencer" is hooked up to the exhaust port of the blow off valve or air dryer with adapters or 1/2" pipe thread fittings and 3/4" heater hose. At this point when the air is released from the air blow off valve or air dryer it goes into the "Air Brake Silencer"were it goes into a 3"inch radius plastic ABS tube which at both end has one (1) 3" by 1/2" plastic wire mash or pad and a 2" by G" Styrofoam tube with (2) two pieces 1" by 2" half supporting tubes at ends. The length may vary depending on application also inlet size and quantity of inlet pipes may also vary. But contains at the ends cannot be changed to insure no back pressure, end are closed of only with five (5) 5/16" holes on both ends.
