An air cart frame that can be used in air seeders to carry one or more tanks that may be loaded with seed, fertilizer, inoculants and/or other seed treatments includes a plurality of upper tank support members, a plurality of lower tank support members and a plurality of substantially vertical support members for interconnecting the upper and lower tank support members. Each support member has at least one surface planar to the slope of the hopper portion of the tank and is cut so as to avoid compound cuts. In a preferred embodiment, air cart frame further comprises a plurality of bottom cross members interconnecting lower tank support members that are positioned on opposite sides of the tank. The upper and lower tank support members can be further interconnected by one or more side support members therebetween. The upper and lower tank support members can be connected to front and rear upper and lower support members, which can be connected to gussets, mounting members and/or wheel axles.
