An air-chambered frame (10) for sealing a photograph or any document therein to protect against any type of moisture or environmental element. The frame comprises an integrally formed frame plate (11), having a finished outer surface and a rear surface defining a plurality of recessions (15) and a transparent lens section (12) centrally located therein, a backing plate (25) of substantially the same outer dimensions as the frame plate (11), an adhesive gasket (26) for joining the backing plate (25) and frame plate (11) and for sealing the contents therein from any moisture and an opaque cover plate (30) which is removably attached to the frame plate ( t 1 ) for concealing the contents of the frame from view or light.

L'invention concerne un cadre (10) pourvu d'un compartiment à air et destiné à renfermer une photo ou autre document pour le protéger contre tout type d'élément humide ou d'agent atmosphérique. Ledit cadre comprend une plaque (11) de cadre formée d'une seule pièce, laquelle plaque présente une surface extérieure finie, une surface arrière définissant une pluralité de creux (15) et, à l'intérieur, une section en verre transparent (12). Le cadre comprend également une plaque (25) arrière ayant sensiblement les mêmes dimensions extérieures que la plaque (11) de cadre, un joint d'étanchéité adhésif (26) permettant de sceller la plaque (25) arrière et la plaque (11) de cadre et de conserver le contenu à l'abri de l'humidité, et une plaque (30) de couverture opaque fixée amovible à la plaque (11) de cadre afin de mettre le contenu du cadre à l'abri des regards ou de la lumière.
