ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A portable air compressor is disclosed which comprises an air compression chamber and a hose connected to the chamber. An air pressure gauge is located close to but is spaced from the chamber. The invention includes a hose storage device which is formed by an outer wall of the gauge and is adapted for receiving the hose. The advance in the art is in the provision of a simple, convenient and low cost means for-storing the air hose on the compressor itself.
