A MOUNTING BRACKET FOR THE PURPOSE OF MOUNTING A SANDEN EAR MOUNT AIR CONDITIONING COMPRESSOR TO A DETROIT DEISEL ENGINE. BRACKET PROVIDES STRUCTURALY SECURE MOUNTING WITH LOW OVERALL WEIGHT BEING CARRIED CLOSE TO THE MOUNTING POINT. DRIVE BELT TENSIONING IS EASILY ACCOMPLISHED BY MOVING THE COPRESSOR BODY AWAY FROM THE ENGINE WHILE MOUNTING BOLTS SLIDE THROUGH THE BOLT SLOTS IN THE TOP OF THE MOUNTING BRACKET ARMS, THEN BOLTS ARE TIGHTENED AT THE DESIRED BELT TENSION.
