An air conditioning duct for use in confined spaces such as the instrument panel of an automobile. To eliminate gripping from condensation warm ambient air, the duct is coated with a superabsorbent material which absorbs condensation and promotes evaporation thereby retarding dripping from the conduit for an extended period of several hours. The superabsorbent material may be adhered to the duct by means of an adhesive or molded in situ in a blow molding process.
