An air deflector for attaching to a push broom or brush used in the winter sport of curling is described. Essentially this is a pattern fitted between twin airfoils mounted on the brush (C.I.P.O. Patent application 2,446,348), adjustable to pivot forward and back, with objective of rushing air to supplement the Coanda effect (tendency of air to follow a curved surface) created by the airfoils on air between the reciprocating brush and the moving stone. The combined goal of both devices is, by reducing air friction, to enhance brushing performance and promote a moving stone to travel a greater distance. Secondary benefit may include providing a vehicle for corporate advertising or team logos, not possible with conventional brushing equipment.
