Air Duct Section with Form Fitted Connecting Flange A b s t r a c t Connecting flanges are form fitted in one piece with an essentially hollow profile at the end of a duct section having flat sheet metal plates. Supporting arms of the connecting flanges, which are led back to the duct wall, are folded into folding pockets which are formed from the duct wall. To attach intermediate connectors having larger duct cross-sections, the supporting arms can have outwardly extending protrusions.
