An air filtration device for intake of atmo- spheric air, removal of contaminants from the atmospheric air, expulsion of filtered air, includes a housing (12) configured for application directly to an electrical outlet and provides air intake from the front surface (14) of the housing and air expulsion from the side (28) of the housing to utilize a wall surface to disperse the filtered air. An indicator (26) is provided to communicate that a filter should be changed, and a filter orientation (44) system is provided to allow proper orientation of the filter with respect to air flow.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de filtration de l'air destiné à absorber l'air atmosphérique, à éliminer les contaminants présents dans ledit air atmosphérique et à rejeter de l'air filtré. Ledit dispositif, qui se présente sous la forme d'un boîtier (12) configuré pour être appliqué directement sur une prise de courant, absorbe l'air par la surface avant (14) du boîtier et rejette l'air par le côté (28) du boîtier, de manière que la surface du mur assure la dispersion de l'air filtré. Ledit dispositif est également pourvu d'un indicateur (26) servant à indiquer qu'un changement de filtre s'impose, et d'un système (44) d'orientation pour filtre permettant d'orienter correctement le filtre par rapport au flux d'air.
