IMPROVED AIR FRESHENER GELS Abstract of the Disclosure An air freshener gel consisting essentially of a novel gelling agent and an aqueous medium containing a volatile air freshener component. The novel gelling agent comprises carrage- enan, locust bean gum, and a water soluble ammonium salt having a pH greater than about 5Ø The carrageenan contains at least 40% by weight of the carrageenan, kappa carrageenan. The improved air freshener gels exhibit practically no syneresis, improved water gel strength, and water viscosity.
