This invention provides an air freshener candle product which is a slender combustible body composed of ingredients which comprise (1) candle-wax, (2) thermoplastic polymer and (3) particulate air freshener-release filler. The air freshener is released into the atmosphere under candle burning conditions. An invention taper-shaped candle can be produced by a continuous molding process.

Cette invention concerne une bougie désodorisante constituée par un corps combustible mince comprenant de la cire à bougie (1), un polymère thermoplastique (2) et une charge (3) qui renferme un agent désodorisant particulaire. Sous l'effet de la combustion, l'agent désodorisant est libéré dans l'atmosphère. La bougie selon l'invention, qui est de forme tronconique, peut être obtenue par moulage continu.
