This invention relates to annular canopy parachutes ( 10) having a central cap canopy (30) in critically spaced arrangement at the central main vent (15), which assists in providing rapid controlled inflation and decreasing oscillationupon inflation as to allow incorporation of high drag coeeficient,generally air impermeable canopy fabric.

Cette invention a pour objet des parachutes (10) à voilure annulaire dans lesquels une voilure (30) de couronne centrale est disposée suivant une configuration critique au niveau de la cheminée (15) centrale principale, ceci ayant pour effet de faciliter le gonflage rapide et régulé et de réduire l'oscillation pendant le gonflage tout en introduisant un coefficient élevé de freinage. Cette voilure de parachute est réalisée dans un tissu globalement imperméable à l'air.
